KVK, Malyal organized online awareness programme on balanced use of fertilizers on 18-06-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized “Online awareness programme on balanced use of fertilizers” through Google meet. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator spoke about balanced use of fertilizers. She has suggested the farmers to go for integrated nutrient management rather than sole reliance on chemical fertilizers. Farmers should take steps towards enhancing soil health. Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained about soil testing procedure, micronutrient deficiencies, soil health cards through powerpoint presentation. He also explained about importance of incorporation of paddy and cotton stubbles. Later Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator answered the queries raised by farmers. 21 number of farmers joined in the meeting through Google meet and participated actively.
